In this article Sorj attempts to explain the limited impact of antisemitism in contemporary Brazil. Jewish historiography have been sensitive to antisemitic phenomena in the numerous societies where Jews live. Tries to understand why in certain societies antisemitism is almost nonexistent, and compares dominant patterns in the studies of Brazilian Jewry with the Argentine case
