[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
This chapter puts forth the position that the Armenian genocide was not only the first total genocide of the twentieth century but that it also served as the prototype for genocides that came after. It offers a brief historical overview of the Armenian genocide and then compares that event first to the Holocaust and also to the Nigerian and Yugoslavgenocides.
