[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
In Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Tunisia there were about 450,000 Jews. Although the Jewish communities of all four states were touched by the events of the war, the Germans were only active in Tunisia for a period of 6 months. In the other three states it was the French and the Italians who were responsible for whatever tribulations that Jews suffered.
