This article tells of the two sides of the story of the Jewish orphans of Holland. During the occupation the story is one of sympathy for the Jew and risk taking in order to save the orphans. After the war it is a story of bitter disputes, protracted legal proceedings, a clash between Jews and non-Jews as well as between the jewish community and the Catholic Church.
