Very soon after assuming political power in Germany the Nazis succeeded in splitting the Lutheran Church.The Reichskirche supported by the German Christians followed the century old tradition of ecclesiastical support for the state authority.Here Pastor Gerlach presents new information much of which is based upon unpublished archival material on the German Church and the "Jewish Question" during the years 1933-1945.
