Directed by Janos Szasz, this film focuses on the experiences of Hungarian survivors who were children during the Holocaust. As a way of dividing the documentary into thematic segments, Szasz filmed a young girl reading from an encyclopedic book entitles 'Eyes of the Holocaust', reading aloud definitions of historical terms and receiving their meanings in the most personal of ways: through the testimonies of Hungarian Holocaust survivors illustrated by archival images and original footage
