The first Slovak Jewish Museum was established in 1928 and operated until the WWII. The collection was then deposited for safe keeping in Prague. It was returned in 1993 and the Museum was reopened. This volume has various articles on different aspects of the Museum namely: the history of the Museum; photographs in the collection; Theodor Austerlitz in focus; Austerlizt's Zionist album and a catalogue of exhibited objects.
