This book transforms the eyewitness accounts of over thirty Americans who acted as camp liberators in 1945 into a single voice giving poetic testimony. The verses portray the monstrosity of the Holocaust as well as the courage of its survivors; some of the poems also attempt to redraw our views of immorality, ethics and normality.
