Written and interview accounts of 60 Polish men and women from a variety of sociopolitical backgrounds. Most of the stories deal in some way with the Jews and with general ethnic relations within Poland. Some speak about Christian efforts to assist the Jews; however, little appears concerning antisemitism among ethnic Poles
