[nb-NO]Description[nb-NO]
Pawiak, a prison in the Warsaw ghetto, was used by Nazis for Poles suspected of underground activities and the ante-chamber of death for Jews hiding on the "Ayran" side. Hirshaut miraculously survived his incarceration in Pawiak. Also describes post-war trials of the Pawiak murderers and decries the travesty of justice.
