DescrizioneThese are two pages from a 1944 edition of the tabloid newspaper Illustrierter Beobachter (Illustrated Observator). It was a weekly image-based propaganda magazine published by the Nazi Party from 1926 to1945.
The torn edges of the two pages match up to create a collection of Bilder aus dem Ghetto (Pictures from the Ghetto). These include images of Jews travelling by tram and various pictures of male and female Jews in the marketplace.
On the other side of these two pages are four images of Neger in USA (Negro in USA), showing the treatment of African-Americans in America. The other page contains five images of German officer chivalry, for example, visiting a wounded comrade in hospital.
