Malka (Maryla) and her cousin Inusia were inseparable. They were murdered in the extermination camp, Belzec, after being first deported from Krakow to the Brzesko Ghetto, with Stefan’s parents and his sister Cesia.
The drawing, based on a photograph, was commissioned by the mother of Malka, Fela Einhorn, after the war. Artist unknown. Date unknown.
