DescrizioneTraditionally dressed cloth doll made in Bergen Belsen, circa 1945. It features a blue eyed googly eyes with yellow wool hair in two plaits. A yellow star has been drawn on the back of right arm.
Part of a collection of four dolls dressed in Polish folk costume made by refugees in Bergen Belsen DP (displaced persons) camp, and gifted to British Red Cross nurses Mrs Thompson, Miss Johnson and Miss Smith (later Mrs Bailey).
