Descrizione
What are the connections, if any, between revolution and genocide? And what parallels can we draw between the Holocaust and the Young Turks' massacre of Armenians in World War I? In both cases, the fact that the respective minorities were excluded from the new dispensation by their very identity sentenced them to death. Both occurrences took place in wartime. That does not mean all revolutions lead to genocide but, in these two instances, wartime did facilitate genocide as state policy.
