Descrizione
Over the last few years, resistance to Holocaust education among Muslim students has been big news in the Netherlands. Two parliamentary debates were held in June 2010 and March 2011 and concluded that that one in five history teachers has experienced being prevented from broaching the subject of the Holocaust because Muslim students had difficulties with it. In September 2011 a Christian Union Member of Parliament stated that some schools “dare no longer discuss the Holocaust because they are afraid to insult Muslims”
