DescriptionThis is a black and white photograph of two Scouts relaxing in a creek at Pennant Hills during the Easter Camp in 1940. The Scout on the left is floating in the water beside the Scout on the right who is casually sitting in a small boat. The Scout in the boat is possibly Edgar Kelson, the founder of the 2nd Bondi Judean Scout Troop. The Baden Powell Scout Centre is located at Pennant Hills and was opened in February 1929 to provide accommodation and outdoor space for Scout camps, meetings and activities throughout the year.
