DescriptionScanned copies of 10 original photographs (originals are not in the collection) that relate to the Parczewski family and span the years 1927-1971. Dominik and Anna Parczewski and their family lived in Slawatycze, Poland, and saved the lives of Wewe and Henry Greenspan, a Jewish father and son who the Parczewskis hid in their farm shed between 1942 and 1945. Dominik and Anna were named as Righteous Among the Nations by Yad Vashem in 1994. Unfortunately, both had died (of natural causes) before receiving this award.
