DescriptionCollection of 3 black and white photographs (a-c; on a single sheet) that belonged to Alf Davis, an Australian Jewish soldier who served as a wireless translator and intelligence officer in WWII. The pictures were taken in the Philippines in February 1945 and show groups of soldiers in camp and socializing with local men and women. Alf Davis was with the American invasion force which landed in the Philippines in March 1945 to liberate the Philippines from the Japanese occupation.
