DescriptionA small, embossed, cut out card showing 3 Jewish men performing the Tashlikh ceremony, symbolically casting sins into the river as part of the Jewish New Year traditions. The background scene shows 3 more men on the opposite side of the river, a large temple and a stone bridge leading to a town - a very European scene. The Hebrew word for Tashlikh is printed in the lower right hand corner. Such novelty cards were popular in the early 20th century.
