DescriptionSmall commemorative banner with the words "Jewish Autonomous Region" in Russian and Hebrew, as well as the dates 1934-1994. The banner marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Jewish Autonomous Region of Birobidzhan, created within Soviet Russia as an alternative to Zionism in 1934. This item is almost identical to M2003/001:002, except that, for some reason, all the printing has been done in reverse - i.e. it appears to be a mirror image.
