Between old and new antisemitism: the image of Jews in present-day Spain

Spain has a long history of antisemitism and current antisemitism needs to be understood against this background. Antisemitism in Spain is expressed in three main typesof discourse: religious, economic and political. However, the religious element acts as the underlying structure for all the others and encompasses Israel-related antisemitism.
