Description
This article documents the survivors' often long-drawn-out and unsatisfactory process of receiving compensation from the Federal Republic of Germany. In 2002 the German Government passed the so-called 'Ghetto pension law'. However, the lack of supervision and enforcement of this law meant that it failed to bring justice to many individuals.
