Story of Winton, a young British stockbroker,who, while in Prague in December 1938 was shocked by the plight of thousands of refugees desperate to flee from the advancing German army. He set up a makeshift office and in just 3 weeks interviewed parents who wished to send their children to England in what became known as the kindertransport.His efforts resulted in eight trainloads bringing 669 children to London
