Memories of my life in a Polish village 1930-1949

A personal narrative that evokes the beauty and tragedy of a Jewish family in the small farming town of Chernitsa in the Lvov vicinity of Eastern Poland or western Ukraine. The story moves from the time of Fluek's contented childhood through the war and Holocaust years and on to the aftermath of the late 1940s. This book lovingly describes many Jewish holidays and customs and is accompanied by an extensive group of the author's own colour drawings and paintings.
