A personal account which covers her childhood as the only daughter of a rich Polish family, the German invasion and the destruction of the Warsaw ghetto. This volume records the impressions of a 13 year old girl on the events before and after the destruction of the ghetto. She escaped to live with a Christian family who sheltered her throughout the war
