Gives voice to the forgotten Sephardim by allowing them to speak in their own words, through their poets and commentators of their suffering during the Holocaust. In addition, Levy surveys the 2,000 year history of the Sephardim and discusses their poetry in relation to major religious, historical, and philosophical questions.
