DescripciónThis photo is indicative of personal memory and showcases the re-emergence of life in Australia for Denis Frederick Carver (born Fritz Schnitzer) and Gertrude Carver (nee Elter), both Viennese Jews. The image depicts Carver, his wife Gertrude and a (unknown) friend posing in front of a look out in Katoomba, the Blue Mountains in October 1947.
