Títulocoffee house entry card
DescripciónAn entry card, number 246, issued by the Terezin Ghetto Jewish self-administration, to visit the coffee house (Kaffeehauses) on 23 June 1943, from the hour of 16.00 to 17.30 (from 4 to 5.30pm).
As this card is mounted on cardboard, there could be information on the reverse.
This small and seemingly petty entry card documents the rigid nature of the Nazi’s administration. All aspects of life in the ghetto were strictly managed and regulated. Every movement required permission and needed to be recorded. The Jewish self-administration worked under the Nazi control and was charged with implementation of many ghetto’s regulations and restrictions.
