TítuloMeyers Lexikon
DescripciónVolume 3 of the Meyers Lexicon published in Leipzig, Germany in 1937. The Meyers Lexikon was a major German encyclopaedia existing in various editions and titles from 1839 to 1984. The 8th edition remained incomplete due to wartime circumstances (1936-42, only volumes 1-9 of the 12 planned were issued). Because it was filtered through National Socialist censorship it has also been called “der braune Meyer” (The brown Meyer, brown being the colour associated with the Nazis).
Of interest in this volume is the entry for Albert Einstein on page 526. He is noted a being a Jew and that his obscure theories are of little relevance.
