DescripciónTelegram, in Swedish, sent to Brudparet Samuel Son[n]abend (the Samuel Sonnabend wedding couple), Mosaiska Synagogan, Stockholm, Sweden, on the day of their wedding, 28 April 1946. It was sent by Kopnivsky and wishes the couple heartfelt congratulations on their wedding day. The telegram itself has a picture of a knight on a horse in front of a cityscape. Isi Sonnabend and Mala Rekant met in the Bialystock Ghetto. They were separated when the ghetto was liquidated then briefly reunited in Auschwitz. They were separated again when Auschwitz was evacuated by the Nazis then miraculously reunited in Sweden after the war. They married at Mosaiska Synagogue in Stockholm, Sweden, and later moved to Australia.
