I came here by train with young Polish boys & girls from Warsaw – They will stay for 6 months to get strong & fat. They are nearly all orphans. Love from Aunty Muriel”. Australian Chief Nurse Muriel Knox-Doherty was posted to Bergen-Belsen in 1945 to help rehabilitate Survivors.
