Maurice Sussman, who served with the 6th Light Horse Brigade as well as the 3rd Infantry Battalion. Sgt. Sussman gave it as a present to his wife Rachel marks, presumably to be worn as a decoration. His daughter Maadi (the donor) was named for the name of a camp in Egypt, where he was stationed.
