DescripciónA set of 10 prints in a folder, by artist and holocaust survivor - Joseph Bau, depicting scenes from a Nazi concentration camp. The artist, who was at school in Krakow in 1939 with donor's husband, gave it to the donor the the latter visited him in Israel. The artist Joseph Bau was born in Krako 1920, died in 2002 was one of survivors in "Schindler's Arc".
This print depicts a loaf of bread divided into a number of pieces, with a number of men clambering towards the bread. According to the artist’s official website (http://www.josephbau.org/) this drawing is titled ‘Bread is the Idol’.
