Descripción

This article focuses on the world of three Jewish diarists during the Holocaust. Hailing from completely different cultural backgrounds, the author presents the diverse ways in which each diarist coped with the task of fathoming the tragic events of the Holocaust and their ramifications on the question of Jewish identity. Each of the diarists did this in the context of the culture from which he originated and offered solutions deriving from that cultural milieu.
