Jewish reaction to Jew-hatred in the first half of the 19th Century

The Jewish Students Assocation was formed in 1886. This organisation remained within the framework of the ideology of assimilation. Its fight was directed against anti-Semitism and especially against those who denied the Jews the right to call themselves Germans.
