Provincial police reports: new insights into Hungarian Jewish history, 1941-1944

Examines the records in the archives of the Institute of Party History. The records examined pertain to the outlook, situation and changes in the Jewish community in every town. The reports provide us with direct evidence about the opinion of the police force on the Jewish question, the level of awareness of the persecution of Jews in other countries, and the central and local measures taken against the Jews.
