Mroz is interested in representations of Poles hiding Jews as paradigmatic of Holocaust memory in Poland. She demonstrates how since the end of Socialism this paradigm has been repeatedly redefined. She presents transmedial perspective on engagements with the Holocaust in recent Polish film and art
