Memoirs written by women survivors of the Holocaust share certain characteristics with men. Both describe gratuitous and deliberate violence against inmates. Womens' experiences shows that traditional feminist values of cooperating and caring come through and remain irrespective of religious, ethnic or nationalistic views.
