Discusses the liquidation of the Jewish community in Púchov and its surroundings. Describes in detail the life of the Jewish religious community of Púchov itself and its vicinity from 1939 to 1945. The first section describes the initial persecutions and denunciations. The second section analyses the ‘new approach’ to resolving the ‘Jewish Question’ and life in Púchov in 1941. The third section deals with preparations for and the actual deportations of Jews from Púchov. The final section covers the end of the Second World War and the annihilation of the Jewish communities in the region.
