Plawy sub-camp ('Wirtschafthof Plawy')

At the end of 1940 the decision was made to create SS farms. Plawy lay in the centre of the planned zone. All the residents were evicted in March 1941, and the majority of the houses were demolished. This farm was liquidated in the spring of 1942 and adapted a year later as a hunting lodge for the Auschwitz commandant's office
