Descripción
This article is an attempt to set out and evaluate the actions of the Democratic Societies and Democratic Party in defending the rights of the Jewish population between 1937 and 1939, against the attitude of other Polish political parties. During this period certain groups intensified their anti-semitic activities. In September 1939 German armies flooded into Poland and this led to the almost complete annihilaion of Polish Jews
