Descripción

States that Holocaust education can contribute important lessons about the nature of racism and thus aid the fight to prevent genocide. These outcomes, however, are not inevitable. Poor pedagogy can entrench stereotypes rather than dismantling them. In particular, students may bring with them preconceptions or stereotypes about Jews that are neither addressed or engaged. If teachers miss these opportunities the outcomes could be adverse.
