Descripción
The author surveyed American teachers who had completed training from one of three major American institutions dedicated to Holocaust education, namely United States Holocaust Memorium Museum, the University of Southern California Shoah Foundation, and the Memorial Library, in order to understand the influences on their past practice and their approaches to teaching. He developed a template of 10 approaches to teaching the Holocaust and shed important light on the opportunities to teach about the Holocaust in American schools and the practices of extensively trained teachers.
