Descripción

Since the discovery of the most important German documents on the Warsaw Ghetto uprising not much has been published. The only sources are papers from the secret archives of Himmler, and also statements of German war criminals responsible for the suppression of the revolt. Considerable importance is attached to two German documents that have recently been published by the Jewish Historical Society of Warsaw, and especially a letter from General-Governor Hans Frank to Reichsminister Lammers dated April 20, 1943. There are also references to the subject in Goebbels' diaries for 1942 and 1943
