Focuses on the 3 major humanitarian operations in which Swedes were involved during WWII; the Red Cross mission in Greece, Raoul Wallenberg's and other Swedes efforts to save the Jews of Budapest and Folke Bernadotte's White Bus operation in 1945. He also looks at the first Swedish reactions when they were confronted by former concentration camp prisoners and the changing attitude to Wallenberg and Folke Bernadotte.
