As 1945 came to a close Jews within Zeilsheim and Frankfurt were rebuilding their lives, their identities, and their communities. Jews in postwar Germany reminded the world not only of the inhumanity they had faced but also of their determination to survive and actively ensure the revitalization of Jewish life in Germany, in emigration, and in Palestine
