Descripción

The author writing as a witness and survivor of the Holocaust, rejects God. His testimony he tells us is neither "theological discourse" nor philosophical argumentation but rather a personal response to the evil he personally witnessed. He writes, as he describes it, "from the top of the smokestack (of the crematorium)," in evaluating the various responses to the question of God's whereabouts during the Shoah.
