Descripción
After World War I life in Germany for the Jews gradually changed from the economic effects of the depression and antisemitism from social and political forces. In the face of social ostracism the family took on renewed significance as the nucleus of middle class life and the Jewish community became the centre of Jewish life with its diverse offers of aid, both material and spiritual.
