Description
Beginning in autumn 1942, the German Foreign Ministry issued an ultimatum to the governments of neutral countries allied with Germany. The demand was to repatriate their Jewish citizens from countries and territories under German control. It forced the respective governments to either deliver their Jewish citzens to the Germans or to 'take Jews back' meaning to agree to their forced removal
