BeschreibungAustralian Service Medal 1945-1975, awarded to Corporal Isaac Cohen.The medal is made of nickel-silver ensigned with the Crown of St Edward. The obverse side of the medal features the Commonwealth Coat of Arms above golden wattle, surrounded by the words ‘The Australian Service Medal 1945-1975.’ Depicted on the reverse side is the Federation Star, golden wattle and space for the recipient’s details, which are: ‘NX52198 I Cohen.’
The ribbon features a central yellow, vertical stripe bordered by two green stripes which in turn are bordered by stripes of silver-grey, dark and light blue. A pin is attached to the back of the ribbon.
The medal is enclosed in a black, leather on wood case. The top centre of the case is embossed with silver writing which states: ‘Australian Service Medal 1945-1975.’ The inside of the case is lined with green felt.
